We have all been apart of a boring walking tour around an unfamiliar city, and we have all tried the local cuisine on our vacation abroad. When we consider this, it may seem like every holiday is the same. However, there are a few ways you can spice up your next vacation, to make some lasting memories. Your vacation should be a chance for new experiences, so here are some ways to change it up.

– Consider renting a car. Car hire deals are in abundance, especially if you plan on booking a vacation package anyway. Many online booking websites offer a car reservation along with your airfare and accommodation. This makes it cheap, and convenient.

– Take a tour. If you enjoy wine, consider finding a tour that caters to your interest. Many tour buses make day, or over night trips into the outskirts of the cities to bring you some unique experiences. Forget the crowded city center, see what the country truly has to offer in it’s rural countryside.

– Participate. Find out what local events are happening, and check them out. Many cities are proud to host wine, film, cultural and other festivals all year around. Get a taste for the local life and check out the events in the city.
